The meeting started at 6:00 with Melinda Petersen’s famous chili (this time with shredded beef!!), BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, chips and a drink for only $5 !! Come next month and bring a friend!
Meeting called to order at 7:07 PM by President Bill Dewey with Sec./Tres. Randy Stout also present. The 17 members and guests in attendance then introduced themselves and gave a brief “What exciting thing happened this last month”. Guests included Jerry Krause introduced by Gary Ludeke. Jerry is building a Kolb Firestar with Gary’s help. Welcome to all!!
As the meeting was to be short, President Bill accepted Jerry’s invitation to take a look at his Firestar, and the meeting was adjourned so everyone could see how work is progressing.
After this brief interruption, meeting was brought to order and:
Rick Friberg then spoke about the upcoming August 18th fly-in event. He explained that there will be a fly market (with a swap meet with $20-$25 tables), flying contests, model airplane flying, antique cars, possibly the National Guard flying by or displaying, parking and concessions. He asks anyone who has an interest to show up at 3:30 at the clubhouse in Creswell on each Tuesday for further planning sessions. They have set a goal of $40,000 to be able to help the City eliminate their losses at the airport. We will have our YE event that day also.
Ben Hallert then gave the club info on the new robot that he built. It allows him to see what is happening at the workshop that he is a member/partner in on a real time basis. He hopes to have it capable of flying a drone by early next year. Drone strikes will be on sale at that time- 6 for the price of 4.
Art Aquis brought in some info on the Wolf Aviation Fund Scholarship.
Ton Cunningham spoke about his visit in Antelope Valley for their fly-in- He will be putting pictures on the web site.

The next breakfast is on June 16th.
President Bill then began asking for volunteers for the upcoming Creswell Fly-In.
Due to pressing obligations, the Secretary/Treasurer had to leave, so there are no further minutes.
