Rod Johnson and Secretary\/ Treasurer Randy Stout also present. The business and entertainment portion of the meeting was called then to order. There were 12 members and guests in attendance.\u00a0 The guests included Craig Henry and Jasmine Darcy, and Francisco Garabay. Welcome all!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Checkbook balance was $3096 as of the\ndate of the meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An update to the Creswell Airport taxiway\nproject, it was noted that they have hit clay and will be laying down Petro\nmats to prevent damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our dear member Larry Davis has taken\nanother fall and broke a hip, ribs and shoulder. He will be going into surgery\nand not driving in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapter 1457 had a potluck on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\nWe will not be having breakfasts or dinners until we have clearance from the\nstate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gary Ludeke then gave an update on the\nZenith 750 build he is helping with. The panel is done and installed.&nbsp;\nThey are waiting for 1 gauge to complete the panel. They are hoping for a DAR\nto inspect by the end of the month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dick Frontzak\u2019s estate is still selling\nhis RV-6A. Price is $47,000. If interested, contact the Oregon Aviation Museum\nin Cottage Grove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Past member Rusty Bartel and his wife are\nmoving to San Jose to live with or close to their daughter. Memory and\nParkinson issues are taking their toll. Allen Weider is buying Rusty\u2019s hangar\nand plans to buy Charlie Walkers RV-9A and finish it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom Buckhouse got his PPL last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new owners next to the clubhouse has\nkept the water on at this point. Both Pat and John will make contact with them\nand explain the past understanding and (hopefully) convince them to continue\nproviding water in exchange for maintenance of their pump and well. They are\nKayla and Brad Hicks and we are told are very nice people. Bill Dewey met her\nwhile mowing the lawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was noted with sadness that the Oregon\nAntique and Classic Aircraft Club has decided to disband after 40 years. Lack\nof members and their desire to lead, along with Covid has lead to this\ndecision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Take Flight program is also cancelled\nthis year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There being no other new or old business,\nPast President John then showed the Monthly Chapter Video and 2 Hints for\nHomebuilders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was then adjourned at 8:08PM\nand everyone went over to President Pat Dodson\u2019s house to look at his\nHummelbird project.
