We are planning on having Zoom Chapter 31 meeting this month, Wednesday January 6th at 7:00 pm. Either John or myself will get things set up for the zoom meeting and will be getting that information out to everyone.
We don’t have a formal presentation but Gary Ludeke can give an update on the Zenith 750 and I can give an update on my Hummelbird project. If anyone has any projects that they are working on, it would be nice to hear about those.
It will be nice if as many people can participate as possible just to catch up with each other.
We will not be meeting this month as previously planned due to the latest Covid-19 restrictions. Lane county is in the Extreme risk category which prohibits nearly all social gatherings.
At this point, we will be planning on having a meeting on Wednesday, January 6th.
If anyone has any ideas for a club presentation(s) for a January meeting (or any other month), I would greatly appreciate the suggestions.
Thank you and have a great Holiday season, see you all next year.
There was no dinner portion of the meeting, but we did have
a pledge of allegiance at the 6:59 PM start of the meeting. President Pat
Dodson, V.P. Rod Johnson and Secretary/ Treasurer Randy Stout as officers were
present. There were 13 Members in attendance along with Shelly the airport Manager.
The business portion of the meeting was called then to order.
Checkbook balance was $2663.07 as of the date of
the meeting. No change from last month.
President Pat noted that we are not planning a Christmas
meeting this year due to Covid concerns.
Bill Dewey spoke about the memorial garden that the club has
been working on for the last year or so. They laid bricks and gravel this week.
Shelly asked if we could include the downtown Veterans Memorial in our area,
and after some discussion it was decided that another area near by would be
more appropriate.

Gary Ludeke gave a quick overview of the Zenith CH-750 that
he has helped get into the air. It is now grounded due to a cracked spinner
plate. He has put 21 hours on it at this point.
Ex-President John Kuehl would like folks to show up on
Saturday, 11/14 at 9:00 to help clean the clubhouse. It has gone downhill since
we quit meeting so regularly.
It was suggested by John that we have Pizza for dinner
before our next meeting in December. He is going to provide it (with the cash
jar ready to re-emburse him) Come at 6:00 if you want Pizza, and 7:00 if you
just want to attend the meeting. Next meeting will be at the clubhouse on
December 12/2/2020
We will be having a Chapter 31 club house clean up on Saturday, November 14th at 9:00 am. If we we can get 4 to 6 participants, it should not take too long. Hopefully it will be a nice day and people can go flying after.
Just wanted to send out a reminder for the Veterans Day Celebration at the Creswell airport, Wednesday November 11 at 10:30. If you are going to display an airplane, please have it ready and in the aircraft parking area by 10:00- 10:15. We hope to be able to give any veterans who are interested a ride if possible as well as a fly-by. All flying will be weather dependent.
Shelly would also like some volunteers for directing parking.
Just a reminder, November Chapter 31 meeting will be tonight, Wednesday, 11/4/2020 at 7:00pm. Meeting is at the Chapter 31 clubhouse at the south end of the Creswell Airport.
Face covering is required.
Shelly Humble will be coming buy to give us both an airport up-date as well as go over the Veterans Day activities.
Please come early and visit with fellow members prior to the meeting.
