The meeting started at 6:00 with Melinda Petersen’s famous chili and Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Salad and a wonderful homemade Applesauce cake with fantastic topping!  You missed a good one if you didn’t make the meeting!! Come next month and bring a friend!

Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by President Bill Dewey with Sec./Tres. Randy  Stout also present. The 17 members and guests in attendance then introduced themselves and gave a brief “What exciting thing happened this last month. Welcome to all!!

Guests included Jerry Narcia, our neighbor to the south, who has finally given up with his through the fence airport access, as the city is charging him $800/Year rent. He felt very badly treated and wished to let us know about this unfortunate situation.

Bob Severns reported that his plane was run into while attending the Mulino Pancake Breakfast this last month. Not much damage, but still a disappointment.  Brad Chapman noted that he may have a buyer for his Thorpe T-18. Rich Locke has a set of plans for sale for an RV-4. Call him at Mid Valley Metals in Springfield if interested.

There was then a sign report from Rusty Bartel.  He is done and the sign is up!! Total cost came in around the $275 range. Good work and thanks to Rusty, Tony Horvath and all the folks who helped make this a great project!

The next breakfast is on August 18th in conjunction with the upcoming Creswell Fly-In. President Bill then began asking for volunteers for Fly-In.
